Sat 29th august 10 o'clock kick off.
Bonnybridge 12 Kildrum United 0 Kildrum started the season with a bounce game due to the referee not turning up. Bonnybridge lead the game from the start with a good goal in the first five minutes. New team player Ceiran Milligan had a fantastic 1st game with some great interceptions with the team having a few new players this season it will take a few games for them to gel. Bonnybridge continued to dominate the game in the first half dispite some good saves from keeper jordan ashcroft Bonnybrige went into the second half 7 0 up. Second half saw Bonnybridge with two early chances just pasting the post 10 minutes on came Bonnybridges:s 8th goal from a corner kick. Kildrum kept their heads up but the superior pasting skills of Bonnybridge were to much for kildrum.New player thomas Clark was involved in some good defending work . Graham Stokes 18 minutes into the second half had a chance to put the ball in the back off the net but it just went past the post. Bonnybridge had most of the possession with kildrum having five shots at goal compared to Bonnybridges: 28. A good clean game and eventhough Kildrum lost there was definite signs of some good football from the Kildrum team New Players Dylan Lunn. In the 20th minute a superb run from Chris Cupples gave Kildrum there second goal 4 minutes later Rossvale equalised. Kildrum had several chances of scoring another few goals before half time with some great attempts from the boys but Rossvales keeper rea d the shots well.1 minute before half time Rossvale scored Second half saw KIldrum play some of their sensational passing Jay Gordon shot from 25 yards was saved with a good dive from Rossvales keeper.Ryan Brown continued to pass many players showing us his great speed and control of the ball a real joy to watch.16 minutes into the second half saw Chris Cupples scored his second goal of the game coming from good interception from Daniel White passing to Dylan Lunn then onto chris great team play. Jordan Trist worked hard and had some good runs been able to pass many Rossvale player with his speed and great little turns on the ball..This was a great game to watch Kildrum played with determination, commitment, discipline and good team work If Kildrum keep up this attitude that was shown today they will have lots of wins under their belts.
